Established in 1900, Pearsons is one of the oldest firms of independent estate agents and surveyors in Southern England. Since that date the firm has developed an ever expanding network of offices, offering a professional but personal service to meet the specific needs of each and every client.

The Alton office is headed up by Spencer Mann (director) who first started his career within the property sector in 1987, progressing through the corporate route within the fields of residential sales, lettings and commercial property. John Gates (associate director) started his career some 25 years ago and again progressed through the corporate route and joined Spencer and Pearsons in 2004.

Pearsons were first established within Alton in 1934 and have returned to become a leading independent estate agent, covering Alton and surrounding country villages dealing with a wide range of properties from £100,000 to £2m. We also have a letting department with a large number of managed properties in the price ranges of £500pcm to £3000pcm.

As an independent company who are passionate about property, it is our aim to provide a first class, value for money service We also pride ourselves upon our marketing which includes quality colour sales brochures incorporating floor plans, colour advertising in local media, our in house Town & Country magazine, and the UKs largest property portal.

Our fees for selling are calculated on a percentage of the sale price and are subject to vat. If letting we offer three types of service, tenant find only, tenant find and rent collection, and tenant find and mangement. Again, our fees are calculated on a set up fee plus a percentage of the monthly rent plus vat.
