Falcon was established in 1983, originally as a Partnership with five partners in their early 20's. In 1985, we became a Limited Company and in 1988 we converted to plc status.

Falcon is both a large IFA business and a network of ifas. It also provides services to other directly regulated ifa firms. In October 2004, Falcon was independently ranked as the 34th largest out of a total of some 10,000 ifa businesses in the uk, in terms of revenue and adviser count.

Falcon advises on almost £1 billion of investment assets on behalf of some 60,000 individual, affinity and corporate clients. The business has been established for 23 years and has an impressive track record. In particular it has a value added approach to compliance and risk management.

Falcon Group Plc are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

There are currently some 140 Independent Financial Advisers within Falcon and its Appointed Representative firms. At Falcon's Head Office, in Clifton, Bristol we have 15 administration staff.

Turnover for the twelve months to 30th September 2005 amounted to over £12.5 million and was derived from: Investments 43%, Pensions 19%, Protection 12%, Mortgages 12% and Renewals & Fees 14%. We received income from no less than 180 provider groups and 75% of our turnover was transacted with the top 20 uk providers.

New rules came into effect on 1st June 2005, since when we have provided clients with the option to pay for advice by way of fees or commissions. Full details are available on request.

All Advisers within Falcon Group Plc are fully authorised and regulated by The Financial Services Authority. Falcon Group maintains a register of all mortgage and general insurance only advisers.
