Who are OurHomeSale?
We are local people who first became involved with estate agency in the 1980's. We are not affiliated with or owned by any giant plc (or even a small plc) which helps us keep our costs down which in turn allows us to pass these savings on to our clients.
Selling your home
We believe that the key to selling your home is to make it available to the widest selection of potential buyers that are available at any given time. We don't believe that you can force someone to buy a house they do not like or want to buy. There are great salesmen out there who can perhaps do this but our philosophy is to find the right buyer for your home as it is to find the right home for our buyers. To do this we try to get as much useful information about your home as we can so that our potential buyers can identify which features suit them better.
Web Space
We have allocated a massive 10MB of web space to allow as many photos of your property as you wish and we plan to allow our sellers to upload their own favourite pictures as well as using those taken by our staff using the latest equipment and software. We will also use the more traditional methods of attracting buyers such as local newspaper advertising and running mailing lists.
Local Office
Full sales particulars of your home will be available for download and to be posted in paper form for those who rather read from hard copy. Our trained staff will be available by telephone, via the Internet and situated in a local office for anyone who would like to discuss their requirements face to face.

Laura Baker, Senior Negotiator - Experienced negotiator, was based in London before she helped open the company.
Gretha Keet, Negotiator - Also started in May, has been an asset to the company ever since.
Sally Davies - Experienced customer service led manager of well known retail stores. Recently joined the team, as the company goes from strength to strength.

On average, our properties are selling within 2 months, and we have an average of only 5 viewers per offer.

Fees:
Our 'no sale, no fee' option is only £1199 + vat (£1408).
That is one of the big differences you will find with OurHomeSale, we don't charge you a percentage of the sale price of your home. We charge a fixed fee no matter what the value of your property. This is because the costs of advertising and marketing are broadly similar no matter what home you are selling.
We also offer a Registration Fee arrangement which you pay when you give us instructions to sell your home. This means that you pay no commission on completion. If your property does not sell then you do not get a refund although you can remarket your property through OurHomeSale for up to a year after the first registration without having to pay another registration fee*.
Our registration fee is only £599 + vat (£703).
Our third option is the best of both worlds. You pay a smaller registration fee and a small fee on completion.
