Home Information Packs.
As of 14th December 2007 every property to be Sold must have a Home Information Pack.
The Pack includes an Energy Performance Certificate, containing advice on how to cut carbon emissions and fuel bills. Also included are the Home Information Pack Index, Sale Statement, Title Plan and Register, Personal Searches, Water and Drainage Searches. There are a number of optional documents that can be added.
Home Information Packs have been a long time coming and will help both buyers and sellers to take away much of the stress and lost money that is always associated with buying and selling properties.
You can order your complete Home Information Pack over the internet, complete a short questionnaire and within 3 days we aim to send a Domestic Energy Assessor or Home Inspector to your property to carry out the Energy Performance Certificate .
Our aim is to put you in a position to market your property legally with a Home Information Pack within 7 days or less. For Leasehold properties, although you will be legal to market your property, some of the leasehold information may take longer to gather.
There are two options to choose from, the Home Information Pack with EPC is all you need legally to market your property, however, if you want to know more about the condition of your property why not opt for a Home Information Pack with HCR which includes the Home Condition Report.
