Kevin has been a solicitor since 1976 and a Deputy District Judge since 1993. He is also a Notary Public and a Chartered Arbitrator. A people-focused lawyer, Kevin has wide experience of helping private and business clients with day-to-day legal requirements as well as with court work. Very often, the people he has helped with their businesses have been the same people he has helped with their family and personal matters. He is now concentrating his experience as a solicitor on two kinds of clients who tend to need the kind of personal and caring help that Beach Law is good at: the elderly and vulnerable and small to medium sized businesses who are intimidated by the "big battalion" approach of some law firms. As a notary, Kevin also authenticates documents used worldwide, whether for personal or business reasons. His work includes the formation of companies, the buying and selling of properties and timeshares, powers of attorney, marriage status declarations and adoptions from foreign countries. He can draw up documents such as Powers of Attorney for use in India. Kevin has dealt with over 300 arbitrations and adjudications referred to him by such bodies as the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Law Society, as well as by Chambers of Commerce and Individual Companies. He is available for appointment as an arbitrator in many types of commercial and contractual disputes.
