For over 400 years Hovingham has been the home of the Worsley family. The Palladian house was built between 1750 and 1770 by Thomas Worsley to his own design and is unique being entered through The Riding School.

The Hovingham Estate has a very long tradition of forest management and the Estate's woodlands, which have won many awards for forestry and conservation, play an important part in shaping the beautiful landscape that has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Within the house we can cater for everything from an intimate dinner for 16 to a banquet for 220 people.
