(Aldershot, UK) OurProperty.co.uk is unleashing exclusive new UK property information, so nosy neighbours, house hunters and property professionals can get comprehensive information about individual houses online, for free.

OurProperty.co.uk Survey

From today, OurProperty.co.uk will publish the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and parking spaces a house has, plus its decorative condition and much more. This information will feature in the site’s search listings alongside the existing sold property price information from the Land Registry and Registrars of Scotland.

The information has been collected from OurProperty.co.uk members who have filled out the OurProperty.co.uk Survey. The survey became available to complete a month ago, and since then an astonishing 80,000 people have volunteered information about their property.

As a result of feedback from the site’s 2 million members, and the overwhelming success of the OurProperty.co.uk Survey so far, anyone will now be able to complete information about any house in the UK. Early indications suggest this will boost the number of surveys completed dramatically.

OurProperty.co.uk is hoping to reach 250,000 completed surveys by the New Year.

“Since we launched in 2005 OurProperty.co.uk members have been asking for more detailed information about individual properties in their droves. No one has information like this – not even the government or the Land Registry. We’ve made a fantastic start in terms of coverage, and with every extra survey completed we get closer to our end goal of being able to offer the information that people really want to know, about any UK property, online, for free.” ~ Brendan McLoughlin, Founder, OurProperty.co.uk

Notes to editors

OurProperty.co.uk was the first website to offer sold UK house prices from the Land Registry for free. The site launched in 2005 and now has a total of 2 million members, averaging 30,000 unique visitors a day. Anyone can access regional statistics on house prices in England, Wales and Scotland online for free.

OurProperty.co.uk is the only property website to offer pre 2000 sold property prices. The site lists the price of sold properties between 1995 to 2008.
